Professional Guidelines

CUA (Canadian Urological Association)/ AUA (American Urological Association)
This was the first time the CUA/AUA mentioned a natural product for recurrent UTI prevention (cranberry)
“…related to Proanthocyanidins (PACs) present in cranberries and their ability to prevent the adhesion of bacteria to the urothelium.”

Family Physician Guidelines
The 2019 Anti-Infective guidelines identified 36mg of Proanthocyanidins as the active molecule from cranberry which shows evidence for UTI prevention.
